St Barnabas CE Primary School

Nursery

Welcome to Nursery at St Barnabas. Our Nursery is a very special place where children take their first steps on an exciting learning journey. Rooted in our Christian faith, we provide a nurturing, safe and stimulating environment where every child is valued and encouraged to flourish. Through play, exploration and meaningful experiences, we help children develop confidence, curiosity and a love of learning, giving them the foundations they need to let their light shine, grow in independence, pursue their dreams and enjoy a happy and successful future.

Our dedicated Nursery team nurtures and supports every child as they grow in confidence, develop new skills and take on exciting challenges. We celebrate each child's unique personality, talents and strengths, encouraging them to become curious, resilient and independent learners. We greatly value the partnership between home and Nursery, recognising that parents and carers are a child's first and most important educators. We encourage families to become actively involved in Nursery life through shared learning activities, special events, celebrations and regular communication. We enjoy strong links with St Barnabas Church and are proud of our distinctive Christian identity, values and ethos, which underpin everything we do and help create a caring, inclusive environment where every child can flourish.

My staff team and I are very much looking forward to getting to know you and your child as they start their learning journey at St Barnabas.
